France's great citizens rest here

Originally built as a church dedicated to St Genevieve. Nowadays it functions as a mausoleum.

Among those buried in its necropolis are the great contributors of France - Voltaire, Rousseau, Victor Hugo, Émile Zola,Jean Moulin, Marie Curie, Louis Braille, Jean Jaurès and Soufflot, its architect.
